oh HUM!

i like it when silence can write a whole book.

i like it when at the end of the day i know what i got done.

i like it when history starts to decay, and story starts to agitate.

i like it when you forget that just yesterday you flirted with me.

i like it when i forget that yesterday existed.

i like it.

a few minutes before the next appointment

i found myself today walking back from the post office and pondering the fine art of navigation between intent and resolve.

i made a few bold resolutions this year, these feel more like they have chose me, and i actively opened my arms and embraced them.

while sharing dinner with a precious friend last night i observed that i was much in a telling and reflecting mood. her presence has in the past year often served as a barometer to my recovery from what was a rather new experience for me, the utter failure of communication in the face of fear. whatever i say, she listens patiently and asks a question here or there. never in my life had i had such a close call with the personification of fear, the denial of reality and the utter mess that these can create. it was a relationship that lasted less than three months, took me a good year to get over and that after i had written a whole book about it and been on three different continents.

on a good day, it feels like all there is to do is learn. learn, do nothing, be myself and just embrace that fresh wind of resolve that so gently procured me.

i can not even say that the few caresses the ego received recently are not in the plan. there is nothing in the plan because there is no plan, anything can happen. i am way behind in my correspondence with all my friends, and i do not know how many of them do read this blog. sometimes i suspect blogs are a voyeur's delight, and that this is not everybody's thing.

on y arrive

on se caresse,
on se respecte,
on se désire.

mourrant.

respirant.

voulant.

pas d’excuses,
pas de demain.

on est simplement.
