you know, curtain time is curtain time. period.

it was 18:42 and my neighbor rings at the door. i am still in pajamas, yes! she tells, asks, implores that if i want to go see the musical show boat, then i should be at the door of the theatre at 18:55. i said ok, i will be there. i was there at 18:59 and could not find her, my ticket had been left at the garderobe, but i first went to the wrong side. i listened to the overture just outside the door, and in a minute pause i was shoved into the theatre just before the first act started.

between 18:42 and 18:59 i brushed my teeth, showered, got dressed and turned off the computer, left the house, locked the door, and waked up to the theatre. it was  a new record for me.

i was frankly quite surprised to see such a big production in berne. it was good. the best was seeing a fellow i know on stage. i remember when about ten years ago he quit his job as a teacher, was unemployed and living from thin air. he and i still worked on a project together, and on occasions i see him in the bus or on the programs of the local theaters. then all he wanted was to become an actor. he has succeeded.
